The SUV boom of the last 10 years has produced many models that look off-road capable but have limited capability to do so.

The Dacia Duster has all-wheel drive, which means that the basic requirement is already met. Ground clearance, another important criterion, is 210 mm for this vehicle. This allows it to move forward even in hilly terrain and, for example, on muddy paths in the forest without sitting up, assuming all-wheel drive. Torque is available at 240 Nm, which is something you can start with - but if you pull a lot, you will also feel it properly.



Rating: The Dacia Duster has all-wheel drive as well as acceptable ground clearance. Occasional off-road excursions are no problem. However, it is not a real off-road vehicle.
