BMW i4 I04 M50 - Terrain

Is the BMW i4 I04 M50 also suitable for off-road use? Here usually a distinction is made between "soft-roaders" and real off-roaders. For real off-road capability it needs more than just an all-wheel drive. The SUV boom of the last 10 years has produced many cars that look off-road but have limited capability to do so.

The BMW i4 has all-wheel drive, which means that the basic requirement is already met. The ground clearance, another important criterion, is 125 mm for this automotive. This is an average value, i.e. dirt roads and slightly uneven terrain are no problem for the car.



Rating: The automobile does have all-wheel drive, but not least the lack of ground clearance indicates that a BMW i4 is not made for off-road use.
