Is the McLaren GT Series suitable for long distances? If one asks the question whether this motor vehicle is also suitable for longer highway stages, one has to consider different aspects, comfort, tank volume, top speed...

The tank capacity of 72 liters leads one to believe that drivers of a McLaren GT Series could cover long distances with it. However, if you look at the average consumption of 10.8 liters / 100km, it quickly becomes clear - with a corresponding gas foot, you have to expect frequent fuel stops. An important criterion for frequent drivers: the top speed. This is 326 km/h and is thus definitely suitable for long distances. At least as important on long journeys is the comfort and interior space. With a length of 4683 mm, the car is one of the big ones - adequate suspension, upholstery and noise insulation should be standard here.

The integrated distance cruise control ensures both safe and relaxed travel by automatically maintaining both the speed and the distance to the vehicle in front. Of course, air conditioning is a must for comfortable journeys. Here, even an automatic air conditioning system is installed, i.e. the air volume and temperature is automatically adjusted to the interior temperature, while a simple air conditioning system has to be operated manually. In unclear parking situations, the built-in rear view camera helps to avoid accidents. The seats are comfortably covered with leather.

The McLaren GT Series is generously dimensioned, has numerous comfort features, and can be moved at a reasonably brisk pace - if it weren't for the short range. If that doesn't bother you, this vehicle is an extremely comfortable long-distance companion.
